World Cup 2010 Tournament Guide

The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the 19th FIFA World Cup and it takes place between 11th June and 11th July 2010 in South Africa. It will be the first time that the tournament has been hosted by a nation in the Confederation of African Football.

The World Cup draw was made on December 4th 2009 and the 32 participating nations have now been divided into eight groups of four and will play to the World Cup format as laid down by FIFA and the South African Football Association.

Brazil are currently the bookmakers favourite along with Italy, Spain, England and Germany to lift the FIFA World Cup Trophy at the Johannesberg Stadium, South Africa on July 11th 2010 and become World Cup Champions!
